Excellence Awards
Recipients
The Excellence Award
Committee was created in 1996 to recognize excellence from faculty in the areas
of teaching, scholarly activity, and service. Each recipient will receive a
stipend of $2,000 to be awarded at the May commencement ceremonies. The
Excellence Award Committee consists of seven members: The Chair of the Faculty
Senate shall select three members at large and the Vice President for Academic
Affairs will select three at large. The first year the Chair of the Faculty
Senate will chair the committee; the next and succeeding years, the past
recipient of the teaching award will chair the committee.
