Student teacher supervision

- One of the things people asked to help with is the revision of forms and handbooks.

- Patience needed with the process.

- Alignment with the Pathwise process is the goal for documents that come from Gwen's office.

- Changes being made in internship handbooks regarding the language and consistency of the language that the students see.

- Summaries of the visits need to be examined in the Spring regarding performance evidence. Observation forms need to be pathwise aligned. If performance is not adequate, then students should be pulled out and returned to campus.

- What do you need to bring home the evidence? How can you align things with program needs?

- Summative and formative evidence needed along with an exit evaluation.

- What kind of performance evidence do we need to see when interns are leading instruction in K-12 classrooms?  

- Gwen to get copies of the Harding forms for observation and the cohort forms for observations out to the faculty.
