Professional Experience

2001-Present               Assistant Professor: School Counseling & Leadership: taught  graduate level teachers wishing to become school leaders and school counselor, Early Childhood education: taught Child Development classes to preservice teachers, and Secondary education: taught Educational Psychology and Classroom Applications to preservice teachers. Arkansas Tech University

1996-2001                   District Level: Student Assistance Specialist: Served a school district of 12, 700 students and 800 faculty/staff. Administrator of various grants, including Safe & Drug-Free Schools, served as a trainer for the district on a plethora of content, and worked with all district counselors. Fort Smith Public Schools

1991-1996                   Elementary School Counselor: Served on many committees, developed a comprehensive school counseling program, advocated for children, and worked with all district counselors. Fort Smith Public Schools
