The
teacher preparation programs have undergone many changes to align to the Pathwise
assessment which our students will experience under the new licensure. We now have a certified Pathwise
trainer on faculty, and all of our faculty have or are receiving Pathwise training. We are presently involved in aligning
curriculum in all of our programs, early childhood, middle level and
secondary. If supervisors in the field
also shared this training, we would all be on the same page and be able to
provide and receive improved, consistent and constructive feedback in the
preparation of pre-service teachers. We
believe this approach to teacher preparation will improve the quality of the
first-year teacher and impact student learning.
I
would like to include you in the next available training which will be offered
February 15th and 16th.

make final arrangements for lunch.
