Candidates

Performance in relation to Unit conceptual framework and Arkansas Standards for Beginning Licensure, other relevant professional standards; potential to make a difference in student achievement

Praxis I, II, III; Stage II info; Exit Portfolio data; Artifacts from courses; standards-based rubrics; course evaluations; standards connected to artifacts; field placement evaluations; knowledge, performances, dispositions throughout programs

Feedback to candidate and into peer review and program evaluation to inform curriculum decisions; Summarize data by program; Program improvement; how many candidates meet standards; indicate candidate improvement program

Unit Faculty

continuing development of effective preparation program—provide what need to know to teach and modify the program; teacher candidates’ potential to make a difference in student achievement; developmentally appropriate

Dean

Data will be reviewed annually at the close of the spring semester by the assessment committee chaired by the full-assessment personnel.

Overview all programs; share with faculty for program improvement; justifies budget; address recruitment and retention concerns; collaboration across campus

Department Head

All NCATE evidence, website data/info; composite of all data; objectives per course met; which standards are correlated and met

Data will be reviewed annually at the close of the spring semester by the assessment committee chaired by the full-assessment personnel.

Overview all programs; share with faculty for program improvement

Unit Committees

Summaries will be prepared and distributed to appropriate stakeholders.  Stakeholders will be gathered in the pre-school in-service meeting in August.  The assessment system will become a standing agenda item.  Considerations for and from assessment will drive goal setting and plans for implementation for the coming year.

 

Data will be reviewed annually at the close of the spring semester by the assessment committee chaired by the full-assessment personnel.
