Graduates will be able to apply the elements of instructional design to develop instructional units integrating technology into the content area.

One or more units developed (in EDMD 6313) applying elements of instructional design and integrating technology into the curriculum.  90% of graduates will accomplish this at the acceptable level on the scoring rubric.

 

 

Graduates of the instructional technology program will demonstrate the ability to develop and carry out action research on an education topic with supervision.

Action Research Project and Paper started in EDFD 6003 and carried out in EDFD 6993 reviewed by two SOE faculty.

 

 

Graduates will be competitive in the job market or in continuing their graduate education. 

At least 95% of students who graduate from the instructional technology program will be employed or continuing their education within one year of graduation based upon advisors tracking of graduates.

 

 

Graduates will show competencies in the area of planning for technology implementation.

The development of a technology plan as part of a policy and procedures manual in EDMD 6233 and further developed during EDMD 6433, Practicum in Educational Media.
