1b.  100% of candidates will satisfactorily complete course artifacts, specifically case studies and the mapping of current trends and issues in identification.

 

1c.  100% of the graduates in gifted education will "agree" or "strongly agree" with statements on the Graduate Program Survey Questionnaire (Part I #6, 8; Part II #8; Part III #3, 6).

 

2a.  Candidates will report a rating of 2.5 or better on appropriate items on Evaluations by Course Objectives for GTED 6843, GTED 6853, GTED 6863-6, GTED 6873, GTED 6833 and GTED 6903.

 

2b.  100% of candidates will satisfactorily complete course artifacts, specifically the curriculum project, the methods and materials portfolio, the creativity handbook, the mapping of current trends and issues in curriculum and the affective education notebook.

 

2c.  100% of candidates will satisfactorily complete the teaching practicum.

 

2d.  100% of the graduates in gifted education will "agree" or "strongly agree" with statements on the Graduate Program Survey Questionnaire (Part I #6, 8; Part II #8; Part III #3, 6).

 

3a.  Candidates will report a rating of 2.5 or better on appropriate items on Evaluations by Course Objectives for GTED 5003, GTED 6843, GTED 6833 and GTED 6903.

5a.  100% of candidates will satisfactorily complete and present a relevant Action Research project as a part of a "capstone" course, GTED 6993-6, in the final semesters of the degree program; a committee of at least two Curriculum & Instruction Department faculty, one in gifted education and one in educational research, will judge the project submitted satisfactory.
