Graduates will be able to plan and administrate a gifted program in consultation with teachers, administrators, and parents.

Graduates will be able to identify gifted learners.

Candidates will report a rating of 2.5 or better on appropriate items on Evaluations by Course Objectives for GTED 5003, GTED 6903, GTED 6873 and GTED 6883.

Results of evaluations by course objectives were tallied by semester and assessed in annual peer review.  Peer review indicates criteria met.

No action required at this time and will continue to monitor.

100% of candidates will satisfactorily complete course artifacts, specifically case studies and the mapping of current trends and issues in identification.

Criteria met.  Rubrics have been developed for each artifact to verify and clarify candidates' performance. Samples of candidate's work are kept on file for a five-year period.

No required action at this time and will continue to monitor.

100% of the graduates in gifted education will "agree" or "strongly agree" with statements on the Graduate Program Survey Questionnaire (Part I #6, 8; Part II #8; Part III #3, 6).

Criteria met.  Results from the Graduate Program Survey Questionnaire met and exceeded intended outcomes.

Though graduates indicate that the MSE in Gifted Education is a quality program, all criteria will continue to be considered in program delivery decisions in the coming year.
