1. Completion of a case study and developmental profile of a typical middle school student at the assigned middle level classroom.
2. Analysis and reflection of the classroom observation experience that identifies the various theories observed and the observed developmental characteristics and needs of the young adolescent.
3. Teach and video tape two lessons. Prepare a 1 to 2-page reflection on the lessons stressing "best practices” and meeting the needs of diverse learners.
